This is the career that many people have been asking for so here it is! I love the doctor career in the sims 4 but I wanted my sims to stay a nurse.There are 4 tracks: Woman’s Health, Legal nurse consulting, psychiatric nursing, and RN track.
This career comes in English so if you use any other language it will pop up in English. This is a rabbit hole career so no GTW is not needed

Nursing Career
Nursing jobs require not only treating patients who are sick and injured, but also offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, taking care of paperwork (lots and lots of paperwork), helping doctors diagnose patients and providing advice and follow-up care.
Level 1: CNA
$20 per Hour (M T W T F)
A certified nursing assistant’s (CNA) main role is to provide basic care to patients, as well as assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing.
Level 2:LPN
$32 per Hour (M T T F)
Many tasks are performed regardless of the job environment. The LPN will usually be the first medical professional to work with a patient. Recording the patient history is one of the first duties. Other jobs the LPN performs include:
Level 3:RN
$45 per Hour (M T T F)
Registered nurses (RNs) perform many jobs. RN’s provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
Women’s Health Nurse Track
Women Health is important for nurses because for some nurses this affects them.Women Health, in the broad sense, encompasses all health topics but here we will address select issues that affect predominately or only women.
Level 4:Reproductive Nurse
$85 per Hour (M T W T F)
Reproductive Nurses counsel and treat families, couples, and individuals for fertility, conception, and other areas of reproduction. They also work with women going through menopause, teaching them about symptoms and treatment options. For Reproductive Nurses, good communication skills are a must not only because of the sensitivity of their work, but they also serve as liaisons between surgeons, researchers, other nurses, and patients families. As a Reproductive Nurse, you’ll be on the front lines of medical advances like stem cell research.
Level 5:Labor and Delivery Nurse
$130 per Hour (M T T F)
Labor and Delivery Nurses help bring people into the world every day. They care for women during labor and childbirth, monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers and assisting doctors. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will prepare women, and their families, for the stages of giving birth and help patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born.
Level 6: Lactation Consultant
$175 per Hour (M T T F)
Lactation Consultants help new mothers breastfeed their newborns and find solutions for those having difficulty like new products or clothing specially designed for new mothers. As a Lactation Consultant, you can work for a hospital or clinic, or for yourself. You can also become an advocate for breastfeeding in public health, design breastfeeding programs for hospital neonatal departments, and lead continuing education classes for healthcare professionals.
Level 7: Certified Nurse Midwife
$280 per Hour (M T T F)
A Certified Nurse Midwife works with women who have relatively low-risk pregnancies from prenatal visits through labor and delivery. They can provide care after the pregnancy, too, counseling new mothers. Some Certified Nurse Midwives work alongside gynecologists to help women throughout their reproductive lives, from puberty to menopause.
Legal Nurse Consultant Track
A Legal Nurse Consultant is medical part of a legal team. These nurses serve as the medical expert in legal cases, helping attorneys and other legal professionals interpret records and charts, understand medical terminology and consult with them on healthcare-related topics. As a Legal Nurse Consultant, you can also work with insurance companies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, clinics and government agencies, either as an employee or on a contractual basis. Your nursing background could be anything from emergency to hospital administration, working in private practices or community clinics. This varied experience is part of what makes you an invaluable asset during legal cases.
Level 4: Nurse Advocate
$60 per Hour (M T W T F)
Nurse Advocates are the liaison between patients and doctors. They help patients understand their diagnosis and make the best decisions about their health. Since every patient has different circumstances, beliefs, and preferences, it is not uncommon for their wishes to conflict with doctor orders. As a Nurse Advocate, you will work with doctors to offer your patients alternative treatment solutions.
Level 5: Nurse Life Care Planner
$125 per Hour (M T T F)
In this specialized subset of case management, Nurse Life Care Planners create healthcare roadmaps. These nurses help patients who have suffered catastrophic injuries and illnesses, advocate for them, and plan out their care. Nurse Life Care Planners work with a patient’s family, insurance company, attorneys, and others to develop a life care plan, determining the future needs, services, and costs of care for the patient over their lifetime. Many Nurse Life Care Planners work independently from the hospital system, acting as a consultant for businesses, families, or courts of law. Because of life care plans, patients caregivers know how often they need to schedule appointments, what to expect in terms of rehabilitation, and what the course of medical care will look like.

Nurse Attorneys who choose a courtroom career, can help doctors or nurses involved in malpractice suits, and consult on disputes with insurance companies. The individuals who choose a career in health can advocate healthcare policies, lobby for nursing associations or help inform lawmakers on important issues within the healthcare industry. As a Nurse Attorney, you can also work as a writer, or editor, for professional nursing and legal journals.

Psychiatric Nurses treat patients diagnosed with conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. They are also trained in behavioral therapy, which allows these nurses to teach patients, and their loved ones, how to deal with challenges that go along with psychiatric disorders

Level 4: Developmental Disability nurse
$85 per Hour (M T W T F)
Also known as a Special Needs Nurse, Developmental Disability Nurses help patients with mental or developmental disabilities like Down Syndrome or Trisomy 21, autism, and more. These nurses also educate patients’ families about the disability and provide emotional support. As a Developmental Disability Nurse, you can work in a variety of settings, from hospitals to schools, to private businesses and patient homes.
Level 5: Substance Abuse Nurse
$110 per Hour (M T T F)
Substance Abuses Nurses are specialized in pain management, and help regulate treatment for patients addicted to drugs, alcohol, and other substances. Much of their job also involves teaching patients about the dangers of substance abuse and possible treatment options. Since addiction is both a mental and physical disease, these nurses are trained in both general medicine and mental health. As a Substance Abuse Nurse, you will be able to give support to people with little else in their lives besides addiction.
Level 6: Rehabilitation Nurse
$150 per Hour (M T T F)
Rehabilitation Nurses help patients with long-term physical disabilities, or chronic illnesses, deal with their limitations and reach their full potential. These nurses work with patients, and their family members, to create a recovery plan and set short and long-term goals—ultimately helping the patient achieve as independent a lifestyle as possible. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will have the opportunity to form lasting relationships with your patients.

Also called a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners do many of the same things a psychiatrist does, including diagnosing mental illness and prescribing medication. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will also act as a therapist, helping patients with depression, anxiety and suicidal individuals, and other conditions that can be remedied with counseling.
RN Track
When providing direct patient care, nurses observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions and progress, which provides the basis for care planning and intervention. RNs also develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health. Registered nursing requires a large base of knowledge in order to assess, plan and intervene to promote health, prevent disease and help patients cope with illness. While state laws govern the scope of nursing practice, it is usually patient needs that determine a nurses daily job activities.
RN roles range from direct patient care and case management to establishing nursing practice standards, developing quality assurance procedures, directing complex nursing care systems, conducting clinical research and teaching in nursing programs, as well as practicing in many other invigorating settings.
Some nurses choose to focus on a particular specialty. There are numerous specialty options each of which has education/certification requirements and a related professional network or organization.

Description: The E.R offers every adrenaline junkie’s dream! It’s fast paced and every decision you make is critical. It’s very important to remain calm under pressure and know just how to act when the situation is crazy!

Level 5: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse
Description: The I.C.U offers a very different atmosphere than the E.R. It cares for many critical patient’s whose care depends entirely on you. Critical thinking and attention to detail are essential.
Hours: 7 am – 7 pm (3-4 days/week)
Pay: $80/hr

Level 6: Nurse Educator
Description: It is now your job to educate up and coming future nurses. What they learn comes from you, other educators, and their books. Answering questions and leading by example are the best way to make them the best nurses they can be!

Pay: $125/hr

Skill Requirements: Logic 8
Level 7: Charge Nurse
Description: You are the head R.N in the unit! You supervise and lead a group of nurses, while still caring for your own patients. Every patient in the unit is your patient, and every nurse is your responsibility.
Hours: 7 am – 7 pm (3-4 days/week)
Pay: $150/hr

Level 8: Nursing Unit Manager
Description: You are now in charge of the entire nursing unit. It is your job to oversee the care of patients, supervise your nursing staff and also have administrative responsibilities. It’s up to you to make your unit the best in the hospital!

Pay: $120/hr

Level 9: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Description: You are the spokesperson for nursing in the hospital! It’s your duty to uphold nursing practices, and implement new procedures and policies. You interview, hire and train nurses who wish to work for you and your hospital. Being able to lead and motivate others is only a small part of the job, but it’s very important.
Hours: 8 am – 3 pm (M,T,W,Th,F)

Level 10: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
Description: All the years of school and training has finally paid off! As an ARNP, you are the physician. You have the independence to examine, treat and manage a patient�s case and history. You have the freedom to work in hospitals or smaller clinics; to specialize in areas like family practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, and countless other areas. You�ve made it!
