Zookeepers are the heart and soul of the Zoo functionality. There are many types of jobs. Where do you belong in the care of exotic animals?

This is a rabbit hole Zookeeper career with 10 levels.

Levels:

Volunteer:
You might not be making any money, but you are on your way to working with exotic animals as a full-time career.

Mood- Happy
Hours- 6
Days- Thursday and Friday
Skills- Charisma 1, Handiness 1
Pay- $0

Janitor:
Everyone has to start somewhere. Even cleaning toilets. Work on your skills an one day you will be going up the career ladder to your dream job.

Mood- Energized
Hours- 8
Days- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Skills- Fitness 1, Handiness 2
Pay- $23

Guest Services:
This is a thankless job, but at least you don’t have to clean toilets anymore. Your job includes helping the general public with their needs in the park. You could work in the ticket booth, guest shop an on events at the zoo.

Mood- Happy
Hours- 8
Days- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Skills- Charisma 3, Handiness 3
Pay- $35

Security Guard
You are used to dealing with the general public at this point at the zoo. You now get to deal with lost children, vandalism, unruly teenagers and generally all the bad things that can happen at a zoo that involve people. This is a tough job, but you have the right stuff.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Tour Guide:
You now have more responsibility. Your knowledge of exotic animals and the zoo has improved enough to where you can now help others learn and have fun at the zoo.

Skills: Charisma 5, Fitness 4
Pay: $68

Grounds Keeper:
Your knowledge of the zoo has helped you to get to this point. You now are able to help the animals be in their best environment. You make sure that the people visiting and the animals live in harmony.

Exotic Animal Keeper:
You have now earned the ability to deal with exotic animals on a one on one daily basis. You get to be closer to exotic animals than many people will ever be able to in their life. Enjoy your new challenge.

Exotic Animal Veterinarian:
You have decided that exotic animals are your calling and taking care of their health is what you want to do. You get to work with a larger variety of exotic animals now on a daily basis and there is never a dull moment.

Skills: Charisma 7, Handiness 7

Collection Manager:
You have now proven yourself knowledgeable an eager to help the variety of zoo animals found in a zoo collection. As a Collection Manager, you are now responsible for the exotic animals and the staff in your chosen collection.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Skills: Charisma 10, Handiness 10
Pay: $245

Zoo Director:
Congratulations you have gotten to the top of your career. You are now responsible for the whole zoo and sister zoos. You are responsible for all the exotic animals and the staff. You have worked hard to get here and now it is time to bask in your success.

Mood- Focused
Hours: 8
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Pay: $1280

How to change the career outfit:
Pull up the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+c).
Enter sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas for the sim you are using. Id pick any section as long as it isn’t your first outfit. You don’t want to wear your work outfit as your default.
In CAS, if you don’t want the cheat console visible then press the ESC key.
