SOOTHSAYER CAREER
Description: No experience is necessary for a career in Soothsaying, you will be trained in all the arts of foretelling the future! As you work up the ladder, you will learn everything from Palm Reading to Communing with the deceased themselves. By the time you reach the very top of the career, you will be known to all sims, such will be your ability to predict the Future.

LEVEL 1 – Palmist
Description: You will begin your career by learning the art of Palmistry. You will learn the different lines found on the palm, what they relate to and how their position and length affects a reading. You will learn about different lengths of fingers, mounts on the palm and bracelet lines on the wrist. You will then perform Palm Reading for clients.

LEVEL 2 – Tesseomancer
Description: You will now learn the art of Tesseomancy or “Tea Leaf Divination”. You will learn how to perform a tea leaf reading, what types of cup are commonly used, the most common types of symbols and how to interpret them. You will then perform Tea Leaf Readings for clients.

LEVEL 3 – Psychographer
Description: You will now learn the art of Psychography or “Automatic Writing”. You will learn how to connect with your higher self and your spirit guides. You will learn to let your mind flow and write without interrupting your flow by trying to analyse what you are writing before finishing. You will learn how to interpret what you wrote and then you will perform readings for clients.

LEVEL 5 – Pendulum Seer
Description: You will now learn the art of Pendulum Divination. You will learn about different types of pendulums and the different materials they can be made from. You will learn how to work with your pendulum to predict yes and no answers. You will learn how to use your pendulum to predict the gender of babies. You will then perform pendulum readings for clients.

LEVEL 6 – Rune Caster
Description: You will now learn the art of Runic Magic or “Rune Casting”. You will learn the different runes used by different cultures, the varied rune symbols and what they mean. You will learn how to cast runes and interpret them from where they fall, what side they fall on and what runes are surrounding them. You will then perform readings for clients.

LEVEL 7 – I Ching Caster
Description: You will now learn the art of the I Ching. You will learn about the Yin and Yang of the I ching, how to use yarrow sticks, coins and even computer software to perform a reading. You will learn about drawing Hexagrams and how binary has a place in I Ching. You will then perform readings for clients.

LEVEL 8 – Astrologist

Description: You will now learn the art of Scrying. You will learn how to scry from fire, water and crystal balls. You will learn how to translate those messages and you will then perform readings for clients.

LEVEL 10 – Necromancer
Description: You are now a highly experienced and respected Soothsayer. Necromancy is classed as black magic, however with your training and experience, you are able to perform Necromancy for the greater good. You will learn how to commune with passed over spirits, how to protect yourself and our realm from harm. You will learn how to use an Ouija board safely and effectively. You will then perform Necromancy for clients.
